Even the keys are tough and rugged.
Just in case it should ever come up…
The keys and key fob to a 2007 Subaru Outback can be left underneath 2 foot deep piles of snow and ice for well over a month without any ill effect. The buttons still work just fine. The key ring itself may corrode a little, but the buttons work just fine once the snow melts and you come across the keys you’ve been trying to find for weeks.

Dude, that’s nuts. And incredibly impressive. Just another reason to make out with the Subaru?
