I took a few panoramas while we were in Scotland. Some I love, some had white balance or other color issues and were jacked beyond repair, and this one in particular looked like it would be amazing but would not go together with my photo stitching software no matter what I did to it. Finally, after trying it dozens of different times with different options, reprocessing pictures, adding extra pictures that actually didn’t fit but that seemed to trick the software into reading it, etc… I ended up with something pretty darned cool.
This is the view from the Cairngorm Mountains, one of the highest points in Scotland. You can see Loch Morlich in the lower middle (a bit to the right of the middle) of the picture, and the town of Aviemore a bit further out and to the left of the loch. (If I’m remembering correctly. I have been known to be wrong on occasion…)

(You may want to click through check out the “all sizes” button. The “large” size is still pretty small, but the “original” is huge. So it might be best to try downloading the original and viewing it outside of flickr, since they don’t have much of an option for big photos.)
